Google could incentivize objectivity in journalism by tailoring its search algorithms to prioritise news articles with more neutral words than +/- ones. E.g. "Tenacious" instead of "Steadfast" (+) or "Stubborn" (-).
Thanks! These are fascinating developments. They're not exactly the same as what I proposed, but they're not far off. Perhaps the logical progression from sentiment analysis/fact-checking would be to filter out results with an excess of emotive conjugation?
