Look back from each timeline to the point of decision. At that point, the moment of fork, everything for each timeline is identical.

If all we do is a result of genetic and environmental programming, what is it that made you choose one possibility and not the other? Free will does exist.

Your use of the word "choose" here is circular reasoning. It is entirely possible that we "chose" one possibility because the decision had already been made for us.
