I'm not sure that's entirely fair. Feels a little professional class hang wringing. Confirmation bias and bubble think is probably pretty even across groups.
I think a lot of it has to do with colleagues being constantly exposed to the same arguments. I imagine that if I spent 10 years working at the Guardian, surrounded by other Guardian writers, I'd become a lot more sympathetic to the Guardian's editorial stance on most things.

For sure. Ultimately I think people (and their opinions) are a lot less individualistic than we like to think they are. Going against the grain of your social / work bubble is pretty rare.
