That’s a stretch. Most people this desperate gave up on politics a long time ago. Both sides of the aisle disregard rule of law. Most school shooters are from the right. The capital invasion came from the right. some looting during riots came from the left.
It’s more creative and bold than most shoplifters.... but not different really. As for your slippery slope. What will happen is some more people will take advantage and then the store will change policy and spend millions to lobby if they need legal assistance.

My point was your slippery slope argument is false. It won’t lead to a massive spike in theft or crime or whatever. Also that’s not how lobbying works. Walgreens not taxpayers would pay for the lobbying there. And yes lobbying is gross, but that’s an entirely different subject.
