That’s all from the coach this morning.

LC: Tom’s Rising Star nomination was just reward for all the work he’s done and in my mind he’s only just starting to scratch the surface. Across the competition there’s some really exciting young talent.

LC: Sounds like Jon Patton will come back in this week. He was fantastic for our footy club and it’s a huge effort he’s back playing. We look forward to playing him if he does play, clearly he’s dangerous. I’d also like to think Davis, Corr have some weapons to combat him too.

LC: Adjusting on the run is our philosophy, we’ve just got to be flexible. Wherever we play, there’s integrity as soon as the ball bounces. The home ground advantage has probably dropped away a little bit.

LC: I know there’s been some commentary on the state of the game but don’t forget there’s been some cracking games and outstanding finishes.

LC: It sounds like hubs are inevitable. We feel for Victoria. We’re privileged to play in the circumstances a lot of other people are facing. If there’s a hub in Sydney that would be fantastic but if we have to go anywhere that’s fine too, we’ll play anywhere any time.

LC: I understand everyone’s going to have an opinion on Toby. My job is to make sure his technique is right and I think he’s come a long way. Whether he gets free kicks or not, Toby’s not worried about that, he’s just playing the ball.
