The bill they’re considering is a TOTAL abortion ban. Even after the SC Supreme Court rules that privacy applies to our own bodies. The bill - H. 3774 was introduced TODAY and they’re holding a hearing Thursday. 1.5 days notice for a meeting during a weekday. Deplorable.

The SC House Judiciary Subcommittee will meet THIS Thursday, 1/26, at 9 am, Blatt Room 516, in another attempt to ban abortion. Be there. Speak to committee members. Call your legislators. Enough is enough. SC has more pressing needs.

Australia took action on guns after a mass shooting. Gun deaths fell by over 50%. Britain tightened gun laws after a mass shooting. Gun deaths dropped by almost 25%. New Zealand banned most semi-automatic weapons immediately after a mass shooting. Only America refuses to act.

I’m sick and tired of hearing this lie peddled by the GOP and corporate media. Raising the debt ceiling does not increase spending or the federal debt. It simply allows the government to pay bills it has already taken on— and defaulting on the debt would be catastrophic.
