His dad was an unarmed getaway driver. He was driving a switch car. He didn't actually harm anyone.

I’m guessing he knew that his fellow participants in the Brinks robbery were armed. He knew they might use those weapons against the guards and police. He was more than just a getaway driver. His car was a decoy in the plan which resulted in murder. Fuck him.

Well, that's your opinion. For me, as a leftist, I see the Weather Underground as the Malcolm X for MLK. In the 1970s, there were ~100 bombings a year. CoIntel Pro was literally a burglary of a government facility. His father's part in the robbery was just driving a switch car

His father is the only one still in jail from this incident.

I don't have a lot of respect for corrupt institutions that murder people. I certainly don't hold them in higher regard than I do an individual who did the same. His father was sentenced to 75 years for driving a switch car. I'm against that.

I don't believe in incarcerating people for 75 years for driving a getaway car. Chesa is doing great work as a D.A. to deal with our mass incarceration problem & does great work on sentencing reform. The world is full of authoritarian countries. Ever thought of moving to one?

So, are you thinking that his mother should have also gotten 75 years? Or, are you only now figuring out what this is about? You are classified as an authoritarian, BTW. This entire thread is full of your authoritarian views. You may not know what is meant by authoritarian.

I think everyone involved in the robbery should have gotten the chair on account of the multiple murders they committed. Life without possibility, if you're a pacifist. Either way they all deserved to die in prison.
