How about banning harassing texts also.
In 2018, 47.8 billion illegal robocalls occurred. I was proud to support the bipartisan Stopping Bad Robocalls Act today, so we can protect Americans from these illegal robocalls that perpetuate fraud and threaten our privacy.

I think the robo callers disguise the phone numbers they use to make the calls. That makes it extremely difficult to determine who is making the calls.

Can you also make it illegal for them to mask their phone number with a local phone number. I’ve had sales calls call me from my own number.

Not for nothing but with all the legislation and governement falling all over themselves, no call lists etc seems neither NY or the Feds have done anything....Robos keep a calling
