    I should be thankful for small mercies. After weeks of watching these birds fly high over my house, one landed close enough to get a quick snapshot. Then it was gone. Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus funereus)

    Today’s Study; it’s black. Last week, the Peregrine Falcon, this week it was a Black-shouldered Kite who’d returned to the resting tree on Henry St Reserve.
