Friends, Minnesota is absolutely a battleground state. YOUR vote will help decide this election, and will influence races down the ballot in MN. Not only is the Presidency on line, so is control of Congress, the US Senate, future balance of the SUPREME COURT, MN House+ Senate.

I think the biggest surprises are going to be Olmsted and also every County in the Arrowhead.... St Louis Co will be very close; I’m not convinced Duluth will flip. But Trump only lost Lake by -145, Cook by -756, and Carlton by -300. Trend says they should all be pickups.

Olmsted County had an almost EXACT 2,500 vote margin win for Democrat Obama in both 2008 and 2012—3 votes difference between two years. Then in 2016, that margin dropped to +598. That’s a 2,000 vote LOSS for Democrats (Mayo Clinic is based in Rochester; HUGE medical community)

For example...Carlton County (directly south of Duluth) had a nearly 5,000 vote margin win for Democrat Presidential votes in both 2012 and 2008. That dropped to 300 votes in 2016. Lake County had nearly 1,500 vote margin for D in 08 + 12 and that dropped to 145 votes.

St. Louis County, MN has lost OVER 25,000 Democrat presidential votes since 2008. 2008: +38,609 Obama 2016: +34,247 Obama 2016: +13,138 Clinton That is a 25,471 vote LOSS for Democrats. But tell me again how MN isn’t turning red.
