Why bonuses? Why not permanent wage increases? The corporate tax cuts were permanent, but these gimmicky bonuses are one-time crumbs so that the #GOPTaxScam can get a bit of undeserved positive press coverage.

We get it. Corporations are getting much of the benefits, with 92% of their profit going to stock buybacks and exec bonuses. And yes 8% went to some employee bonuses. But it also meant 1T$deficit and medicaid/healthcare cuts of 1T$/10years. #DonorPayback

Anthem CEO Gail Boudreax is making $10 million a year and Anthem claims it is losing money and has to go up on premiums 25-50% in most markets. Go figure!
