Democrats are peddling a false narrative about Georgia’s election bill, which actually EXPANDS voting opportunities. Here are the facts: (1/6)

It provides for reasonable voter ID requirements for absentee ballots. Voters can provide their Driver’s License number, last four digits of their SSN, or a copy of an acceptable form of identification. 75% of voters support voter ID laws. (3/6)

It protects the security of our elections by: *preventing ballot harvesting *increasing oversight of local election officials *ensuring absentee ballot drop-box locations are secure *increasing transparency by requiring each county to report on absentee ballots (4/6)

Despite Democrats’ phony outrage, the solicitation zone allows the giving of food or water by the proper personnel, just not political activists. Election workers are still allowed to provide water and it allows for self-service water stations. (5/6)

Democrats can lie and spin about the bill all they want, but the real question should be: Why are they so terrified of a transparent and secure election process? We look forward to defending this law in court. (6/6)

EASIER? If polls open from 9-5 during the work wk, that is NOT expanding it 4 min wage earners. Open the polls from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. so wking ppl don't lose $ tryin 2 exercise their Constitutional right 2 vote. The Irony is all of ur GOP machinations will backfire spectacularly.

The bill shortens the time allowed for early voting so that the average worker can not vote after normal work hours.

"This bill increases the number of early voting days and hours overall" But it specifically REMOVES Sunday voting, which is disproportionately used by Black churches with "Souls to the Polls" days. Weird that you want everyone ELSE to be able to vote more, though.
