Dems have a list of demands. One is to suspend prosecution of ballot harvesters. But sending activists door-to-door to collect ballots not only jeopardizes people’s health, it threatens the security of their ballot.
Dems also want to send ballots to inactive voters. Many states do not clean up registration lists, leading to more ballots being sent than adults who live there. Inactive voters are also likely to have moved, in which case the state knows they are ineligible from USPS.
If that weren’t bad enough, they want to suspend verification procedures for absentee ballots. That means election officials could not reject a ballot if its signature looked totally different from the one they had on file.
