At the core is the fact that a sitting U.S. President used his office to coerce a foreign nation to help him politically. At the expense of our national security.

Let's say Ukraine had been insane enough to refuse. They need the aid to fight a hot war with Russia in their own nation. But we weren't doing it out of the kindness of our hearts. Russia cannot be allowed to push further into Ukraine. That is in OUR interest.
