Since the media is largely giving Nancy Pelosi a pass for Democrats’ sham inquiry, here are just a few reasons why the White House is absolutely right to fight back. (1/5)

At a minimum,
@realDonaldTrump should get to see all the evidence, present his own evidence, call witnesses, and have his lawyers present at ALL the Democrats’ hearings. Instead, Democrats decided to shred 150 years of precedent to smear him. (4/5)Show this thread -
Democrats are also failing to give House Republicans the ability to subpoena, which is standard practices during inquiries. Since before this President was even inaugurated, Democrats have only cared about their political vendetta, not the facts. (5/5)

The process is now and has always been up to the Speaker of the House. Only when the hearing moves to the Senate are certain rights realized. See Constitution.

This is surprisingly true. In Inquiry has had a vote before. Still, a vote is not required to launch an Inquiry. If the Republicans were in charge against a Democratic president, you can bet they'd do it too. See Merrick Garland. They have no shame.

They had a floor vote for inquiry under Clinton.. Merrick Garland was handled in the Biden Dems "no election year" SCOTUS appt precedent.
