Bullshit. Literally 90% of my tax clients received less refund and some even had to pay back for the first time. Due to the elimination of unreimbursed employee expenses (car miles, work clothes, tools, meals, etc) and the cap on mortgage and property tax deductions.pic.twitter.com/F3v9OKMFIx

I don't know, I readjusted my w-4 withholding when the new laws went through... I got more back. Perhaps you need to take a look.

Are you in construction? I have clients they lost upwards of $35,000 in deductions (milage, meals, union dues, tools, working clothes, etc) And no "adjusting" would have made up for that Is a fact refunds for Americans is down. And the amounts are larger than the "tax cut".pic.twitter.com/86jkX8Bz23

Lost $35K in deductions? wow... I know people that don't even make $35K in a year. sounds like you're doing OK.
-
My average client in construction in CA has mortgage interest & property taxes of around $20,000 That alone is more than some people make in a year in some places. Not sure what your point is. It's not what you make, it's what you are left withhttps://twitter.com/RBReich/status/1101926570015375361?s=19 …

Well CA is part of the problem. Highest taxes and regulations in the nation. Talk to your reps to fix that. CA gets 57% of it's revenue from taxation. There's the problem right there.
-
California is also the highest contributing state in the Union, supporting the welfare states that back Trump. I’ll take lower state tax rates, and red states can find their money elsewhere.
-
I Imagine CA can contribute the most to the US since they ignore their own people. CA has, by far, the highest amount of homeless. than any other state. You're lucky enough to have most of the Tech companies out there. They're also moving though.

Does it apply to the parents who have been separated from their children who have been put in cages? Try this: hold out your arms, turn your palms upward, bring both hands toward your face, and now look at the blood on them.
-
No it doesn’t. Illegals don’t file tax returns.

Right and then when you lose the 4K personal exception per kid......
-
And one for each parent as well...funny they never mention that.
-
Correct. So in the example of a family (married) with two kids — standard deduction goes up $12k and credits increase by $2k so woo $14k! Problem is personal exception of $4050x4=$16200 or $4200
