In GOG defense a website that no one has ever heard of that may or may not be about games wrote some stupid shit. So the obvious answer is to cave. I mean not really but its what they went with. God forbid the lose the support of VD123 or whatever.

The journos condone and even demanded hate towards gamers, your costumers. I am glad the company also do not think those journalists are important anymore, because that means we, the consumers, are. And remember folks, we have the cash, not them.

Yeah. Vote with your wallet. That's one important thing to consider and even if you can't do that there's alternatives like pirating videogames or just donating directly to the devs.

Don't apologize to game journalists, they are a bunch of corrupt people actively working to make games worse, trying to inject their politics into the games. Also, apologizing to hate mobs is useless, they aren't there to forgive you, they only want your humiliation.

Never EVER apologise to these people. Those who claim boycott were never actual customers and they never forgive anyway. They don’t want improvement or change, they just want something to complain about in order to feel like they’re more important than they are.
