People do not see the big picture. Consider also that in the intentional homicide rate can include self defense. Also if you look at hot burglaries (ie the victim is home) it is much higher in places where they are sure you are unarmed. It's usually 4x if not higher.

Um, as for the chart it MIGHT have left out a few countries—150 or so—and everybody to the right of USA is nowhere any American wants to live. P.S. a just as likely/unlikely correlation: crime has lessened since 16 years after Roe v. Wade. (< unwanted kids = < at-risk adults)
