We won’t be able to use live sub tools like social blade to track counts I think that’s basically the general consensus on why this is not a good move

Well I’m not just referring to sub battles Just so you can track when a favorite youtuber reaches a milestone mostly

I check my stats multiple times a day: it’s a drug for youtubers & its also nice to see the sub count going up. Abbreviating counts eliminates this

PUBLIC. You obviously still see the entire count. The API obviously returns the entire count, SocialBlade will be unaffected.

Basically IF I were to reach a certain number it needs to be not abbreviated. Based on for example my favorite number is 225, so anything that ends in 225 is my goal to reach. And if you don't see that on Social Blade one day there would be no point of celebrating a milestone.
