Not sure I agree with this statement. Cancer is a bad thing. No bad intentions created it.
There are no bad things, only bad uses of things. If you will, there are no bad things but only bad thoughts; and especially bad intentions.

Personally I would categorise cancer as a process rather than a "thing". There is a difference.
