In other news I got a bird feeder to make my dog happy and she’s mesmerized. She stands so still to look at them...at least until she gets too excited and scares them off

Seriously though, a lot of small businesses and service industry folks will be hurting soon. If you have a favorite restaurant, store, nail place, etc. consider spending some money now before it gets too bad out there on a gift certificate you can use later.

Harvard just reversed its policy of not providing money for storage to people on financial aid! they'll be covering that cost now. previously they were providing "advances" (loans) for flights only. this is huge, & in no small part because of student organizing & outside support
