We will never achieve world peace if you guys can't see that Walgreens will lose nothing from this, and that man probably resorted to this because he had no other choice.

Nope, none of it. I don't believe that man had no other choice. I believe him to be a human adult, of able body and sound mind, and capable of making moral choices. This includes bad ones, like strong-arm robbery.

Not here to promote or necessarily defend the suspect in this scenario, but this was not strong-arm robbery. Now depending on how much merchandise he got in the bag, it may have been grand theft. But he did not physically confront or threaten anyone from what we see in this vid.

You are rationalizing it…pretty much saying you agree with it. There is no rationalization for what he did. Stealing is stealing no matter what the reason. Not resorting to conflict does not make the situation any less wrong.

I'm not talking about what's morally right or wrong, I'm talking about law. Rule of law has to prevail or else right or wrong mean nothing. What this person did legally speaking, wasn't strong armed robbery. It was most likely grand theft and could be coupled with other charges

Like conspiracy to commit theft, seeing as the subject entered the store with no intent to purchase anything, with tools he brought in to commit the theft with (bike, bag).

Ok so what was the point of your comment if it wasn’t to defend the man’s theft? To point out the obvious? I don’t think any of us needed an explanation on the technical aspects of the act. Sounds to me like you are backpedaling.

He actually agrees to the theft. He just doesn’t want to admit it coz… he’s woke and a snowflake.
