    Elizabeth Warren was so nervous before going on The Daily Show in 2009, one of her first TV appearances, that she threw up repeatedly backstage. She shook off the stage fright, went on to absolutely annihilate GOP deregulation, and wowed Jon Stewart in the process. What a badass.

    This, to me, is the weirdest part of Charles Murray's intellectual project. The IQ stuff is mostly in service of an argument against affirmative action, but it's easier to just test if affirmative action works — and it does!

    Remember, econ research shows that affirmative action is actually pretty successful, even long after the programs are over.
