Possibly. There'd need to be kinks worked out. But it would be neat if the people supporting me with subtitles could get a kickback for it.

As someone who's recently got into subbing, it's a pretty thankless job, would be a nice chunk of change for people learning a new language or just are bored during their Summer break.

That's a bad idea (for the current subtitle system) Because anybody can claim credit of the subtitles by just editing a little part of them.

Maybe if they change the system to make the owner of the channel to choose their subtitlers it would work I even thought for a while on adding Spanish subtitles for
@MatPatGT's videos and upload them on another channel (without monetizing them) - 1 more reply
