      Eliz managed to turn out 12,617 voters, a good showing for a special runoff in Texas — the money spent turning out voters was effective. But not as effective as the Republicans’ turnout operation. His 17,457 votes surpassed everyone’s expectations.

      The loss shows us that we have lots of work to do if we want to win TX. Thankfully there are plenty of districts to go after. And we'll be doing just that.

          We’ve been waiting for the fever to break, for people to abandon the Party that’s in Trump's thrall in droves. Hasn’t happened. So we need to win across the country in Nov and prove to more people how much better our vision is in their lives. So let’s get back to work.
