On the noise: "I've met several registered voters who didn't know there's an election this year b/c the 2020 pres campaign has taken up all the attention. We need to work twice as hard in the current media environment to get the message out that 2019 elections are critical!"
On the issues: "Voters want to make sure their kids have a bright future. They want their kids to receive a great education so they're prepared for the modern job market. They want their kids to be able to afford prescriptions & doctors if they get sick."
On the doors: "Knocking doors is politics at its best. Candidates meet community members on their turf, listen to their concerns one-on-one, & make a good argument as to why they're the best fit for the community. It's hard work but incredibly satisfying to earn someone's vote."
"As for my least favorite part, I was chased out of a yard by a dog and that's never fun!" (Now that's a dedicated door knocker!)
