As @BobbyBigWheel said in his newsletter (sign up in his bio!) don't read too too much into the SD11 special, especially if it's close. We don't think mid-February special elections held on a month's notice are that predictive.
Like we said, we wouldn't try to extrapolate this result to predict anything, but unless we get a miracle in Cloquet the Minnesota GOP will have an easier time running the State Senate and DFL will have a tougher task in trying to flip it.
