    During last year's conference, my colleague Prof. Abiodun Alao gave us an overview of Africa's deep engagement with like the Africa Society at King’s in the 1950s, Desmond Tutu, Nobel Laurette in the 1960s and Many War Studies Alumni in the 1980s.
