Absurd that state schools are doing this. State schools are there to serve state residents. Period. Private institutions can do whatever they want but state schools should be required to greatly limit admission of non-state residents. Thanks for highlighting this issue Sharyl

What is worse are the foreign students. We have plenty of diversity here but the colleges are all trying to cozy up to oversees universities.

Wait until you report that recruiting international students is a big revenue stream as well/

In my opinion yes. Would be great to find evidence land grant, state run colleges and universities are admitting foreign/out of state students over in-state students as a means of a cash grab instead of fulfilling their charters.

Not only out-of-state students but Foreign students. I know imminently qualified students who were not admitted to their departments because seats were taken by Chinese nationals. One student was a PSAT finalist. This is wrong!
