Keeping this guy locked up (or not) is not going to change the fact of his crime. It is going to give him a chance for redemption.

Not against redemption. But this celebratory tone might mean more coming from someone who hasn't let crime become rampant across the city to the point that stores have to close.

Lmao. Poor Walgreens. Weird how CVS hasn't had to close any stores in San Fran.

Probably just a matter of time… “There are 155 CVS stores in the Bay Area, including 12 in San Francisco; yet those 12 stores make up 26% of all shoplifting incidents in the region, CVS said.”https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/16/us/san-francisco-shoplifting-walgreens/index.html …

Lol. Shoplifting doesn't move the bottom line for companies as big as Walgreens and CVS.

If you understood the margins you would realize that shrinkage has a disproportionate impact on this type of retailer. All you see is “big” and “corporation” but at store level it absolutely moves the needle.
