We have successfully completed our pilot programme for detransitioners and we're now gathering names of detransitioners interested in attending online group support meetings. These meetings will be facilitated by a psychotherapist & everyone will be vetted beforehand

Listen all I’m saying is in a culture where hyper femininity is the norm, it’s not that weird that butch/GNC women who were often mocked by other women for the GNC traits feel as though they’re not connected to ‘binary’ womanhood, stop blaming them

"I just wish someone had told me that transitioning wouldn't fix anything. I didn't need to change myself, I needed to find myself. And now that I have, I feel like an absolute idiot for putting myself through this hell on earth..."

I’m finishing college & getting married. Things that I thought might be ruined if I detransitioned - weren’t. I share this in the hopes that youll feel secure in your decision to detransition too. I could only assume how people would react and treat me but it’s been positive. 3/

I miss my breasts. I wish I had learned to love myself before they were taken from me. They were not the problem, my breasts were not inherently sexual or attention-seeking, they were normal and meant to be on my body. They didn't hurt me, the men who abused me did.

On the vilification of detransitioners: After having my account unsuspended, with an apology from Twitter for wrongfully suspending me, I decided to scroll through the reaction to the 60 minutes episode that discussed detransition. And I'm sick to my stomach by it. 1/12

learning to stop thinking "I want to be him" or "I'm going to be like him" when seeing certain men and instead allowing yourself to think "I'm envious of how he looks and how that allows him to interact with the world, and I'd like to replicate his style but as a butch woman" >>>

"Participants described strong difficulties with medical and mental health systems, as well as experiences of outright rejection from the LGBT+ community. Many reported that alternative treatment for gender dysphoria was impossible to talk about within LGBT+/the medical sphere."

This is such good resource, please take time and read: "The aim of this study is to analyze the specific needs of detransitioners from online detrans communities and discover to what extent they are being met" (274 participants) An incredible work done by Elie from Post Trans👊

Usually only share detrans stories with this account, but this is too good new from my own country to not be shared, hope other countries can follow too: 📢No more puberty blockers for < 16 (and strongly limited 16-18) 🙌🙌🙌 Science says no.
