start the stopwatches guys; let's see how long it takes crappy YT support staff to acknowledge this

They're not crappy, I understand they're inundated with messages and can't help me instantly. I'm happy with any help they can provide, timely or not.

This will not be fixed for a few days, literally only ltt are able to upload in 4k atm, your only solution is to delete the video and reupload in 1080p
-
I've been uploading in 1440p for years without issue. And my prior 4k uploads have been fine. This is the only anomaly and I find it hard to believe that LTT is on some white list and nobody else is able to upload 4k. That's just silly.

There is a problem with 1440p and 4k for weeks now but
@YouTube just don't want to confirm the issue. Many Youtubers have to deal with this. Hope the Dev team is working on the problem....Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Higher the resolution longer the time it takes to render. For say, 2160p takes more time to render than 1080p. We're working to improve this. If you prefer to wait for 4K, you can upload the video as unlisted & make it public once the preferred resolution is available. Thanks.
