Danny was arrested on May 24 at Yangon International Airport shortly before he was due to board a flight to Malaysia. On November 12 he was convicted of three offences following a short trial and received prison sentences totalling 11 years. 4/5

The prosecution alleged that he was working for Myanmar Now, despite the fact he resigned in July 2020 and joined Frontier the following month. 5/5
