When a person hits that subscribe button they are saying, I want this person's content... not I want you @Youtube to decide what portion of content I get.... C'mon guys, to subscribe is an action, which means that sub is saying, give me this content

Not only notifications, true. They also messed up with: - Main Feed - Channel feed (sometimes videos don't show on the channels page, you gotta enter VIDEOS tab to see them) - Recommendations They don't care about their biggest source of income: Advertisers (YouTubers). Wtf.

Then don't subscribe to the channel. Or deactivate them. If YouTube is smart, it will allow you to mass-select channels on a 'Subscribed' tab, and toggle the notifs for all channels selected. THOUSANDS of channels are dying because of YT auto-disabling notifications for users.

I agree.
@TeamYouTube should be working for the creators to get content out. If I get annoyed, it’s super easy to turn off or adjust my notifications. It’s hard enough to get viewers to subscribe to ANYTHING these days.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I actually prefer not to get notifications for all channels and I just go down my sub feed to watch their videos
