A kick that is only effective when the target is leaning heavily on their front leg and leaves the attacker open for a counter isn't worth banning. Good fighters will use it effectively, bad fighters will get exposed for trying.

You’re a little off, that kick is effective at anytime. The attacker isn’t really open either because the kick stops any forward attack and would cause more damage to yourself if you try and eat one to land a punch

Because we’re master compensators with physical injuries and will go on with one. I fought Anthony njokuani for 3 rounds with double vision after he broke my orbital in the first 30 seconds. I also know a few guys that have had surgery after a full fight because of that kick
