Seeing AI art being featured on the main page of Artstation saddens me. I love playing with MJ as much as anyone else, but putting something that was generated using a prompt alongside artwork that took hundreds of hours and years of experience to make is beyond disrespectful.

I wonder, with that selfie AI, rappers are making baby pics of themselves. So clearly, the AI was fed on an immense amount of child and baby photos (from LAION). With stringent laws on online child privacy, wouldn’t this be a case against the database, and thus the AI?

Is this image something that everyone is joining in on? I'll admit that it's been forever since I uploaded to Artstation but this seems like something I'd happily join in on if it's a trend to bring awareness to the devs.

I have gotten (via lots of grueling exposure) pretty good at telling the difference between what's AI and what's manmade. If ArtStation wants to hire me I offer this service to help anihilate this beast once and for all. I just need a cover letter.
