Thanks Rodney for waking me a bit earlier, yet again! The unfortunate thing is when we walk to his food bowl, there's often already some cat snacks in it! 
He doesn't think to check before waking me, or apologise when he realises his mistake!

It sure hurts! I love that cat alot but he doesn’t bother. Almost as if he is over our bond. Ouch! Rejection hurts
Well Rodney is ever more affectionate than before. I think it's a combination of him seeing me a lot more than when I was working, but also that he's getting a bit older. I think my appreciation for his affection highlights some of the issues with being single in general.

So he is more of a companion. That’s sweet! I see Fluff as my baby except he out grew me already; he was always in a “don’t touch me” phase but he used to demand my attention. Now that I am away, I think it’s a bit of rejection. He used to bug me a lot and I hated/loved it.
