      Good morning, Faith! 🤗 Good luck meeting your dad. Last year I went back to NZ to see my dad - who now has dementia. Was great to see him in some respects, but not when he blanked & didn't remember me! Anyhow, hope you have a great day too, my dear. 😊

      It was crushing. Truly crushing. I actually felt more angry than anything. Frustrated at him & the situation... and how life inevitably screws you over...etc. But I repressed it and just joked along with him till he "came back" and remembered me again. Really very tough though.

      I can't imagine. My dad sent me a really weird text asking to meet today, so I have no idea what is going on. Although he only lives around 30 miles away, we don't get to see him much due to the wicked witch (his second wife)

      It hurts that he always puts her first. He hates confrontation, and will do anything to avoid it. He's clearly unhappy in that relationship but won't do anything about it. (He's the one that called get the wicked witch 😳)

      The weird thing is she was fine at the start! But now I'm not even allowed to step foot inside the house, apparently it's grounds for divorce (not that my dad told me this...)

      Yup same here. She seemed awesome at first. That changed. I was a daddy's girl, and she didn't deal with that. She spent many years trying to destroy my relationship with my dad. Some people.. like.. I don't even. Why not love? Why so much hate 😒

      Oh no. I wish Twitter gave us an "Empathise" button because some tweets I can't quite bring myself to "Like." Sorry for you. That's tough. Well, no excuse, but she is human.. flawed like the rest of us. But yeah, acting with love is a good goal for everyone. 😍

          Yep! And as cheesy as it is.. out of something bad, there is always good! I developed a really strong relationship with my mum as a result of the problems with my dad's wife 💖My parents always had, and still has, a good relationship. It was just her that created problems

          Btw, I'm good today though 💖 All in the past now. Our relationship was better in the last few years after I had kids. My dad's wife passed away last year. I was devastated for my dad and her family. But for me? It's horrible really, but I felt nothing
