And the unsub continues. Never would've thought that me introducing one of my favorite games for 11 years would get people so upset.

Because of the WoW videos? That sucks! Actually my channel started with recorded live streams of my adventures in the launch of Legion! lol I have hidden them now though (took me a year!) I also have Alpha access to BfA, btw! But trying not to spoil it as I know I'll play a lot!

Yea, after I started to upload Alpha testing videos the subs started to pummel down. Such a strange thing as they do not mess with my sims 4 video schedule at all! The leveling is so much smoother in BfA, so gooood!

Yeah... it happens. People might be like.. wait, that's not Sims, unsub! Who knows?!
It's a delicate thing. But you can overcome it! Just keep doing what you enjoy. New people will come in that like WoW, or both games. People who like Sims & *you* will still stick around! :-)2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

Thank you, you're so sweet!
I just need to focus on that what is fun for me! Easier said than done, but I sure will try!1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

I totally understand, probably more than I'm expressing. The number changes can hurt. I wish there was a way to display them to others, but not be able to see them ourselves! The more that you can work on not caring about the numbers (easier said than done) the better for you.

Yea, that feature would be awesome at the start anyway

Yeah exactly. Though I know YTers with 5 figure+ sub numbers that still are affected by number fluctuations. I'd like to think if my channel was that popular, I wouldn't mind anymore. But yeah, like I said, totally easier said than done!

I have too many other things on my plate that I shouldn't even notice it, but I do and I am making wrinkles to myself by squinting so much at the numbers

Near the end of last year I was at around 275 and I decided then and there that I'd "fall in love" with this number (bear with me here). I just decided that was "enough." Really focused on it. Now when I lose subs I think "Still a lot more than 275" and feel better.

It may sound kinda strange or silly or whatever. But it worked for me so I wanted to share it with you. Still can be affected by number changes, but when I think of this 275 thing, I kinda grin and feel good again.

Not silly or anything at all, very fair point actually! Probably would make a biggest difference to someone who suffers from anxiety and panicattacks. :) Thank you! I am just a silly woman instead
