Good morning!
Our clocks changed last night and went forward an hour. So though it felt like I got up around 7:45am, it was actually an hour later! So I think I need extra coffee now or something...

Thanks :) I spent some time today playing ESO with a friend but she's gone to sleep now so I'm going to spend some time leveling up my solo character.

I played ESO when it first released and have about 4 characters. But I didn't play long as I felt an urge to go back to WoW. So many great games and so little time! But I saw the Summerset stuff incoming and I did already download the client again... I might turn up sometime!

Awesome :) I play on the NA server, but I think I might have a low level character on the EU server as well. Not that any of my characters are actually high level
I never actually played WoW. It seems to be very guild-centric and I don't have the time to devote to a guild.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

No it's not all! I am not in a guild and haven't been for years and still play most of the content. The only bits I don't play are by choice, not because I'm not guilded. But yeah, moving from one MMO you've invested time in to another isn't easy or appealing.

I'm not sure I will actually reactivate my ESO subscription. I'd just be looking to see what's arrived in the last few years, then losing interest and logging off. That's not really worth the money to me. Much more selective of where I spend money nowadays.

I totally get that. I'm not getting any expansions until I finish most of the main game content. I don't pay a subscription, either. Can't really afford it, which is another reason why I don't play WoW. I need a game that is friendly to the casual player, without a sub to play.

Re: WoW guilds - my husband was invited by a work friend to join a "casual" guild. They raided "only" two nights a week and all weekend. It was not a hard choice *not* to join LOL Especially if that is considered casual by people who play WoW.

Casual and hard core are terms that are pretty useless to use as they mean different things to different people. You can raid without a guild, like I do. I don't want to be expected to play at certain times, either.
When I was younger, sure, but now? No way! I do my thing.

Quite. Though back then I didn't have time to turn up in-game at a time that suited other people, either. I was too busy doing a whole lot of other things and my spare time for gaming was spent on Sims and Final Fantasy
