I am the same! I have absolutely no idea about voidcritters! I should really play with a sim child sometime soon
I mean, every small furry pet stuff pack needs a Bubalus, right?! I mean look that that guy. Aww. Don't you just wanna.. I don't know.. uhh.. wait, what even is that weird thing?! LOL! 
Until then, I had no idea!
I love the idea of the voidcritters! I do tend to get them for my child sims. But you know, it's a whole game within a game! You could spend hours with that stuff! hahah
