So thanks to it being below freezing for days now, the cold water in my building has stopped working! 
So no showers 
(too hot) and no toilet flushing! 
But luckily I can still make coffee.

There have been a lot of people having this issue around here, many with burst & frozen pipes, broken boilers, toilets and sinks unusable.
Ugh that's too bad. I hope it won't be like this every winter from now on. It's been almost snowless most winters I've lived in France.

Snow almost never sticks in this valley, the people are perhaps a bit under prepared compared to those a few miles away up in the hills.
