Spent some time with laundry today to stamp out that "clean laundry in the hamper" issue once and for all. Heads up that the fix won't be in the next update that releases; we're aiming for the one after that.

Hi Graham. Sounds great! I would also love a fix so that sims can take laundry out of a hamper and put it in their inventory - even if they have no washing machine or tub on their lot - otherwise the whole idea of taking Laundry to a community lot to wash makes no sense.
I didn't realise this wasn't actually possible already.

Unfortunately it is not. It got weird in my LP when I had to buy a wash tub in order to get the clothes out of the hamper so I could bring it to a "laundromat"

Ah ok, so you can get them out, but you have to have a tub/machine to do that. That's definitely odd!
I'm glad my café/laundrette also had group activities, a closet to woohoo in, and of course coffee.. or it would be defunct! - Show replies
