      The only snow I've seen this year (so far) has been a heavy downpour that didn't stick to the ground at all. My parents had a few centimeters of it a couple of weeks ago, and probably have some again today.

      Think that's pretty normal for coastal places though - was the same for my home city back in New Zealand. Though we did get some that settled, occasionally!

          It's cold enough but dry for now, but will return to temperate rain too soon. Friends in Nîmes drove up in the Cevennes to check how things are at the summer house. Couldn't reach the village. Ooops.
