Wow I've really only seen a tiny fraction of the reaction to the anniversary update. Just reading up a bit now and whoa.

That's why I'm not silent because people need to know that the "concerned parties" are not the only ones concerned and I don't regret anything I've ever had to say. It needed to be said and I tried to say it in as kind a way as possible. That's all. And hopefully it gets better.
I don't know what you said, Jason, but I am sure you did say it with the best of intentions. It is very hard to get involved in a sensitive topic, without stepping on someone's toes. Sometimes being quiet is the safest, other times quietness can make things worse. It's tough.
