If you're a mod user, Sparrow, take a look at this mod which now includes a "no strays" option. http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=595445 …

Pity I don't use mods. .. I'm pretty tempted as the strays are quite awful

Yeah I'm not a fan of most game-generated sims or pets. I prefer it to use the ones I make. So with this mod and MC Command Center, I get pretty much that.. most of the time.

Thank you Ash! I will check this one out. Will it completely prevent the game from generating living statues? They liven up the San Myshuno neighborhoods quite nicely!

So I don't have any experience of this mod on its own, only alongside MCCC. I don't know off-hand if living statues are prevented. Along with MCCC, at least in my world, it does fill these roles but with sims that already exist (if they match trait requirements).

That sounds nice. I still want those 'service' Sims but no random Sims. It'd be so funny to see Bella Goth as a living statue xD

It might work without MCCC too, I don't know. Hope so though, if you're not an MCCC user!

I am a fellow MCCC user! I could not play TS4 without it. The game doesn't create pear-shaped Sims any longer. The NPCs get married and have kids. I'd also like MCCC having Sims date each other, not just get married, like MC Commander did in TS3. I don't know if you used (1/2)

You mean NRaas mods. I was a biiiig supporter of them in the NRaas forums, helping people out with all sorts of issues. Loved it!

Oh. Yeah. NRaas.
Haven't played TS3 in ages!1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
I stopped playing as soon as Sims 4 came out. I couldn't handle the constant crashes and gameplay loss I had in TS3, even though I had invested thousands of hours into it.

Wow, I'm still playing TS3. Don't think I'll ever stop unless it becomes so old that I literally can't play it anymore.

I wish I could because there's still so much more content in it and I loved the art style. But I can't bear lost gameplay and I won't do that to myself again.
