Why do Sims always go running for the computer the first moment there's nothing else to do? I finally moved my Simself into his new house (for real this time) and the welcoming party arrived. The first thing one of them did was go to the computer.
Yeah... that computer sure tempts them. You can reign it in a bit using MC Command Center, stopping a lot of those interactions from being autonomous. But hey... when nothing else is necessary or more tempting, I'm usually at the computer myself...

Well yeah, I thought about it after I posted my comment and realized I always go to the computer too.

heheh! Yeah but it is kinda weird that guests rush to it. I wouldn't rush to use the computer if it wasn't my one at home!
