Hee hee, Luna was just sleeping (on my neck) and I was watching Sims videos. A kitten started mewing on the video and Luna sat bolt upright with her hair on end.

Cats are the best! You know I love Rodney to bits! 
He has been such a great companion. Fine, he doesn't like to sleep in bed with me like my female cats of the past did. But he shows his affection in other ways and it really improves my mood at times.

They do! They often seem to know when we need them and will just come and sit nearby. Luna already shows concern if she hears The Beast cough and goes to check on him! Kimber was independent but he'd come and sit nearby when I was doing coursework and kept me company.

Yes! Rodney definitely can read my face and luckily it's quite expressive, even when I'm alone, lol! Luna sounds lovely, Cinds! I'm so pleased for you and your family. You can never go wrong on a cat, I reckon.
