This is kind of scary! Like a horror movie plot, 'Attack of the Shadow Cats'!

To be frank, I am upset by it! So yeah. Kinda scary. Just hope more pets won't go this way. I'd have to have to recreate them again and again.

I know it sucks when these things happen. I hope you get it fixed. You have a backup save right?

Trying Crin's suggestions. Even after recreating user files from scratch, and with no mods, it still has the issue. Trying a few things.

I have this as well. I didn’t see anyone else who had it either so as horrible as it sounds I’m kinda relieved. Crin do you want my save too? I’ve cleared caches and repaired and given the dog a bath to satisfy someone sure it was just dirty.

Luckily in my case all the affected pets are from other families and can be recreated. But obviously just hoping this can be resolved so it doesn't recur.
