Curious to see what your radical idea, quit your job and join EA Ireland? ;)
On the scale of familiar to radical that would really be deeply on the familiar end. Radical is more like: be a hermit and write!

If you can afford it, do it. Move to somewhere cheaper than Versailles (again, Ireland) and give yourself x years to do it
